Final terminal mother & son trip home
Donation protected
I want to start off by thanking all of you rather you help or not. Bare with me as I'm speaking from the heart and not good at this. My family has never been one to ask for anything we always give and give. We believe in helping other in anyway we can. My mother even with being diagnosed terminal she still gets up every day to help others. So writing this is kinda difficult to do. When I got the news of my mother being terminal with lewy body dementia (LBD) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD), part of (FTD) is primary progressive aphasia (PPA). The aphasia is impairing my mommy to have spells of not being able to talk or speak correctly. Her being a strong person shes not asking for pitty in any shape or form. That's why she dosent show or exspress how bad she is getting. My worst fear is this time next year my mom wont be able to talk. It was such a hard blow to me cause me and my mommy have been close my whole life. My mommy is my hero and always has been. I'm a father of 3 wonderful children that all ways help "nam nam". With lewy body dementia there is no cure and it only gets worse day by day.
The reason we are trying this is I want to make one a lasting memory with my mommy even if soon she wont remember it .
Our plan is to leave June 19 2019 …..
Along with our last adventure we are taking my father to Newton, Kansas. He is riding his bike in the longest day for Alzheimer's and dementia, for a cure for dementia. From Newton, Kansas to Texas. A total miles of 750 miles. I couldn't be prouder of him.

After we drop him off is when our mommy and son last trip home begins to St.Charles, MO. The journey will be long for my mother and her terminal disease. Will be almost 900 miles one way. I want to be able to supply all her needs and if the trip becomes to long and we need to stop and get a hotel so she can rest. I want to be able to afford everything she needs to make this the best trip possible. On a personal note all of this has been extremely hard on me. I believe this will be a great way for us to have special time and help both of us cope with what is to come. Our plan with in our home town is to make one last visit to family and friends. Also to see the house I grew up in, some of my old favorite places. Not to mention eat good food that cant be found in Texas.
In close on June 19, 2019 . We will begin the last and final trip to where I was raised by the most amazing and strong woman. I need EVERYONES help to not only make this the most memberable but the safest I can with a terminal ill mother. PLEASE any and all donations is one step closer to me being able to accomplish a lasting memory with my HERO my mommy. I no that it is short time to get to the goal but we are praying that GOD moves in you to give.
God bless and much love from my family to yours
