Final Expenses for Kristopher Steinmeyer

Donation protected
Kristopher Steinmeyer, 28, passed away January 15, 2019.  His family donated his organs through the Gift of Life Foundation to help 6 other families in need, but now they need our help.  Kris' passing was sudden, and his family needs help covering his funeral expenses.  Kris had been the passenger in a head-on collision last year that left him in constant pain and unable to work, with a lot of medical expenses.  Needless to say, his family is struggling to pay all the bills, and no parent ought to worry about this stuff when they are grieving the loss of a child, gone too soon.  Family and friends have been asking how they can help, so I am setting up this GoFundMe in order to accept donations to the family.  (I am Kristopher's cousin.) His family will be collecting the donations and applying them towards the money they borrowed to hold his viewing and cremation.

Here is his obituary and funeral arrangements if you wish to join us to celebrate his life:

Kristopher Steinmeyer, 28, passed away January 15, 2019 after losing his ongoing battle with the disease of addiction.

His family and friends will always remember him for the funny, smart, and loyal son, brother, and friend that he was. Kris was born June 14, 1990 in Williamstown, NJ.  He was a 2008 graduate of Williamstown High School, where he played football. He was a skilled carpenter by trade, and he loved to fish and spend time with family. Kris was unapologetically charismatic. He knew who he was and he shared his joy and zest for life with everyone he met. In his life, he was always eager to help anyone in need.  It should be no surprise that in his death, he shared his life-saving organs with other families through the Gift of Life Foundation.

Kris is survived by his parents Kevin and Stephanie Steinmeyer, grandmother Pauline Steinmeyer, his brothers Kevin Steinmeyer, Jr. and Keith Steinmeyer, his sisters Kelly Steinmeyer and Stacey Coggins (Aaron), niece Brooke Steinmeyer, and nephews Kevin Steinmeyer III and Aaron Coggins.  He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents Maryann and William Hartlein, John Flynn Sr., and Howard Steinmeyer; his Uncle Michael Flynn, and brother Klyde Steinmeyer.

To know Kris was to love him. He had a big personality, hilarious stories, and he always had our back.  Our broken hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of his absence.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, January 21st from 7:00-9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 22nd from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 South Main Street, Williamstown,. Mass of Christian Burial, in memory of Kristopher, will be celebrated 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's Church, 32 Carroll Avenue, Williamstown. Cremation private.Kris, with his mom and his niece and nephews.
