Jake "Fridge" Finn is an amazing young man with a tremendously strong family.
Jake unfortunately suffered a hypoxic-ischemic brain injury and was found to be unconscious for a unknown period of time. He was in a critically condition, demanding intensive care treatment and will require several months of rehabilitation to improve his quality of life.
Jake has made a lot of friends in the Rugby League community and has touched a lot of people in his time with serval clubs in Newcastle including (RealNRL) Knights, Canterbury Bulldogs, NSW, NSW Country & Australian Schoolboys.
In his attempt to pave out a career in the game he loves, it's very hard to hold down a full time job, and now Jake may no longer be able to work and support himself financially.
We need to dig deep and raise as much money as possible to help with his upcoming medical bills and ongoing treatment.
His recent admission to hospital and the Intensive Care Unit has also required his immediate family and close friends to dedicate their entire time to be by his side, which comes at a cost.
He today has been transported to a rehabilitation clinic to continue his recovery.
Any help and contribution will be much appreciated by Jake and his family!
The money raised with help with setting up Jake's future in regards to ongoing intense rebabiltation, which will have him ready to re enter the workforce. This will help ease the burden due to his inability to work.
The money raised has today been withdraw to his brother Ryan Finn, and he will distribute the funds to when needed to aid ongoing treatment bills and cost of living expenses.
Jake and his family will be in touch shortly to everyone who donated to thank them personally.
