FilAm Sports has been given the privilege to represent Filipino-American basketball players across America as Team USA at the Shoe Mart National Basketball Training Center (SM NBTC) League High School Championship in Manila, Philippines.
This is truly a transformational initiative for the future of Fil-Am youth basketball. Playing at SM NBTC aligns with our vision to enhance FilAm youth basketball experience. SM NBTC, Philippines’ premiere basketball camp, invites the nation's top high schools and international teams from Canada, Thailand, and more, and now, the USA. SM NBTC exposes the athletes to play in healthy competition televised at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. In building a stronger connection to our culture, we will be interacting with our kababayan, both on and off the court, and giving back at a charity.
FilAm Sports is an independent non-profit organization from New Jersey serving to develop Fil-Am youth basketball players. The team welcomes Fil-Am players regardless of background, location, or affiliation, to unite and represent the first FilAm team for USA in March 2017.
We are reaching out in hopes to fundraise collectively for team expenses (uniform and accessories, training, etc). Your contribution helps FilAm Sports USA "Reach New Heights."
