Fighting Cancer- Emergency Medical Expenses

My wife Kim was recently diagnosed with Stage IV synovial sarcoma, an horrific situation for us and our family. At the same time, we were preparing to move into a new home, but her diagnosis rapidly ate into our savings, and we were forced to put our plans on hold. Over the following few months, thanks to hard work and the extraordinary generosity and kindness of friends and strangers, we were finally looking forward to moving before Christmas, and beginning the long process of treatment and healing.
Two weeks ago, Kim began suffering strange neurological symptoms, finally resulting in fainting and small seizures. Her doctors have ordered a PET scan, and we are hopeful that it is a result of fluid buildup from treatment, rather than a brain metastasis. Unfortunately, the up-front cost of the scan has taken up a large chunk of what we raised for finishing and moving expenses on our new home, and so we have been forced to find alternate sources to pay for it.
We know that at this time of year things are hard, but we have nowhere else to turn. We urgently need $875 to cover the cost of the scan, so that we can still keep our home.
