Aiden's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

Please take the 2 minutes of time to read this post- we need all the help we can get!

This page was set up to help my dear friend Celia (Farr) Nuzzo as she deals with a horrible accident that has left her sweet 7 year old son, Aiden, fighting for his life.

For those that don't know, Celia's son has Autism and is considered nonverbal. He is very active, smart, caring and as Celia often calls him, her little monkey! Celia and Aiden had been staying at a hotel while they desperately looked for an apartment that was in her limited budget and also, the boundries of his current school that specializes in teaching kids with conditions like Aiden's.

Yesterday's tragedy occurred at the hotel they'd been living at. Aiden managed to slip out the door without being noticed. Celia quickly realized he was missing and called 911. When the officers arrived, Celia told them how Aiden loved water and luckily one of the officers checked the swimming pools and tragically found Aiden lifeless on the bottom of the pool.

The officers and rescuers we able to retrieve little Aiden and immediately began CPR. They are unclear how he gained access to the pool, which is surrounded by a brick wall barrier with a chain link fence top.

Though Aiden was rescued, it is not known just how long he was under water. The rescuers were able to establish a pulse and he was flown to Primary Childrens for further treatment. Aiden is on a breathing tube to keep his heart and lungs going. His doctors are doing everything possible to help him pull through this, although at this point, the outcome is very in certain.

His mom Celia (Farr) Nuzzo has been through way more than a person should have to deal with in the last few months. She lost her husband mid June so has had to be both mommy and daddy to little Aiden. She has also been dealing with her late husband's family being difficult towards her. In addition, she was living in the women's crisis center for a couple/few weeks, trying to save up some money and find affordable housing, but it was just a short term center, so they kicked her and Aiden out after being there the max of days allowed, leaving them with now where to go except for a hotel. And now this horrible tragedy happened. Poor girl can't seem to catch a break.

Aiden is Celia's everything. He is bravely fighting for his life, and faces a very difficult road ahead. I set up this gofundme campaign for 2 main reasons. First, to help with the mounting costs of the specialized treatment/medical bills and the ongoing care that will be needed. Secondly, I set up this gofundme capaign to help Celia get back on her feet. Most of us cannot even imagine the hell she has been going through the past several months, let alone, what she is going through now!

I know that we can reach this goal- we can exceed this goal!! So many people love Aiden and Celia. Let's come together and make It happen! Every dollar help- so please consider donating something, no matter what the amount is!!! Hopefully, by everyone donating money, we can take just one of her stresses out of her life and help her get into a stable home!

If you're unable to donate, please keep Aiden and his Mom (Celia and extended family) in your thoughts and PLEASE share this campaign with those you know.
