FHP Trooper Injured
Trooper Carlos J. Rosario-Flores of the Florida Highway Patrol (Troop E – Miami) was out operating laser / radar while on a speed enforcement detail with three other troopers, west bound SR 836, extension to SW 137th Ave in Miami. While motioning to a speeding motorist, a second vehicle lost control and struck several of the patrol cars prior to striking Trooper Rosario-Flores. Trooper Rosario-Flores received serious injuries from the impact and was flown to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center for treatment. The investigation is on-going and at this time and further information is being learned.
Trooper Rosario-Flores is being treated at the hospital with life-threatening injuries. This is an effort to support his immediate family during a difficult time.
Carlos, God is in control and will give you all the strength you need to overcome these tough moments in your life. You are in our daily prayers and we declare and decreed that you will be healed very, very soon and all this will be but a memory.
