Sean's Archaeology Course
Hi! My name is Sean Jenkins and I am a first year student at the University of Newcastle, majoring in Ancient History and Classical Languages, and Linguistics.
I have recently been accepted to undertake a four week Introduction to Archaeology course in Wexford, Ireland in January 2018 which will include lectures, workshops, archaeological digs and examinations. The dig will be conducted at Ferrycarrig on the site of the oldest Norman Castle in Ireland, dating to AD 1169.
The opportunity to undertake this course is invaluable to me as it will provide me with knowledge and skills unattainable by other means which will undoubtedly go a long way towards the attainment of my long-term goal of becoming an historian.
The combined cost of both the course fee and airfares is approximately $7500 and I am hoping to raise half, if possible. However, any amount of assistance would be of great value.
