Felicity's recovery of a traumatic brain injury

Felicity is a beautiful 17 year old young woman. Who is vibrant and full of life. She has always lived her life to the fullest. She loves roller coasters and all kinds of thrills. Her zest for these thrills put her on the back of a motorcycle. The driver lost control and Felicity subsequently ended up in the hospital in critical condition. Multiple broken bones and contusions. Internal injuries and worst off TBI (traumatic brain injury) that has left her in a coma/ semiconscious state for over a month now. Her mother Veronica is a Nursing Supervisor in the Trauma ICU where Felicity is receiving care. So not only is she fluent with the medical terminology that describes Felicity’s condition, she also knows the multiple outcomes that her daughters recovery can take. Felicity is facing a very long recovery with lots of therapy and possible future surgeries to repair a broken scapula and nerve damage as well as compressed vertebrae. It is going to be a very long road for this family. Her parents Veronica and Al, her brothers Donovan, Alonzo, and Orion, as well as her extended family are all devoted to getting her the best possible care and recovery. Unfortunately it takes more than dedication, prayer and emotional support .  It takes money. Our goal is to raise enough funds to help with the overwhelming costs  of critical care, out of pocket expenses and the best rehabilitation we can get to help her back to the feisty and lovable young woman she was and can still be. Any amount large or small will be welcome.
