Help Send Inuit Care Packages

For the second year in a row instead of spending money on gifts during the holiday season I will be sending care packages to families in remote areas in Canada.How often do we spend too much time and money on gifts that aren't even needed or used? 

Many northern families have to choose between paying for groceries or paying for household bills. About 60% of children in Nunavut are living in food insecure households, that is over half of the all the children in the territory.

Thanks to your generous donations last holiday season we were able to help 4 families with 30 adults and children and also the food bank in Gjoa Haven, Nunavut - where the prices are the highest in the country. 

If you would like help by donating money to send food and goods to families, I will continue getting lists of families in need from the organization Helping Our Northern Neighbors. 

We will also be contributing to a children's breakfast program.

We're accepting baby diapers/food/wipes, baby clothing, Tolietries, Baking goods (flour, baking powder, sugar, pasta etc.) and other light weight foods with nutrition.
