Get 'Fear Itself' to the Fringe!

Hello, Ghosts and Ghouls. We are Danse Macabre Productions and we need your help to take our new show ‘Fear Itself’ to the Edinburgh Fringe.

ABOUT US:

We are and up and coming theatre collective specialising in tales of horror, humour and fantasy that use ‘bloody tongue in cheek’ humour, innovative staging and surreal experimentation with genre, to terrify and delight you in equal measure.  

We have produced 5 shows so far with our work being shown at the Pleasance Theatre, London, Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, Old Red Lion Theatre in London, C Venues at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016 and were recently nominated for the Les Enfant Terribles Award 2018.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Our newest show ‘Fear Itself’ is a one woman horror show, following Dr. Amelia Greenwood, a renowned psychologist as she gives a motivational talk on how she learnt to conquer fear despite her hard life. However, as she delves deeper into the darkest parts of the human psyche and begins to confront both the ghosts of her own and the audience’s past, she discovers a horrifying truth that she once thought long buried.

A theatrical experience like no other, it will linger long with you after the curtains have fallen and it is running from from the 3rd-18th August at Mint Studio, Greenside Infirmary St.

All joking aside, we have already raised some of the money to take this show to the Fringe, however as we are a small self-funded production team, we still need £1500 to fund our venue hire and marketing costs (fliers). None of the company are paid and so all money donated will go to the show’s aforementioned production costs.   

Anything you can donate would be hugely appreciated and will help to make this show (*in Dr. Frankenstein’s Voice) come alive. It also will help to give horror the legitimacy that it deserves in the theatrical world, by producing unique and innovative horror theatre that shows the capabilities of the live stage.
