Neila Smith is a dear friend and an amazing person whose kindness, grace and joy of life is apparent from the moment you meet her.   Her warmth, intelligence and humor  encompass and embrace everyone fortunate enough to have her presence in their life. 

Neila has dealt with cancer twice previously in her life and, unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with the disease once again.  The prognosis for eradication is optimistic but the surgery, radiation therapy and recovery will take months.  Since Neila and her loving husband Mark are both self-employed, their income is going to be severely impacted during this time and they are understandably concerned about financial issues. 

We are requesting funds to help them pay for medical costs not covered by insurance as well as living expenses.
