F*#% Cancer: Ride a Scooter

As any good challenge begins, it started with a bet between co-workers. $100 to race the Barry Roubaix 22 mile gravel course on a 12" pink scooter as involved into an amazing way to donate to a great cause.
Jeff Jacobi is a local Grand Rapids bicycling legend (but don't tell him that, it'll inflate his ego even more), who has a big heart for cycling but an even moreso for giving. He has organized various types of cycling events around Grand Rapids and has often taken donations to benefit the Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids at them. The Gilda's Club is an organization that provides 'free emotional healthcare to children, adults, families, and friends on any kind of cancer journey or those grieving the death of someone in their life due to any cause.' Or as Jacobi will tell you:
"F*#% Cancer'
Jeff had already decided that once he won the $100 bet, all of that would go towards supporting the Gilda's Club. After catching wind of this friends and teammates decided to also support the cause by beginning to pledge per mile and one time amounts.
All funds donated for this challenge will go directly to support this amazing organization. Please join Jeff in saying 'F*#% Cancer' and donate today.
