Not Too Far From Mississippi

The winner of the Ozark Blues Society's 2015 Blues Challenge in the solo/duo category Jimmy Wayne Garrett has a fresh album in the works! An Arkansas born singer, songwriter, and blues guitar player with a driving passion for blues music that reflects styles from the American art form's beginning to its current evolutionary status. Over the past year, he has been bringing his raw energy to local blues festivals and venues both as a solo performer as well as with his group, The Liberty Bell Rhythm Band. Garrett believes in remaining true to one's genuine self and living through artistic expressions to make the world a better place. From somewhere between the Delta and the Ozarks, his style is fresh and reminiscent of the space where the blues was born.

Now Memphis bound to represent the OBS in the 2016 International Blues Challenge, the newly recorded acoustic album recorded by Chris Moore at Easthall Recording, Not Too Far From Mississippi, needs help being funded to get printed.
