Father Injured In Hit and Run

Hello everyone! My name is Rachel and on April 8th, 2017, two days before my 19th birthday, my dad was hit and nearly killed by a car on his way home from work. The driver of this car did not stop to see if my dad was okay, but instead stopped to pick up pieces of her car that might lead the police to her. While she stopped to pick up the pieces of evidence, and while my dad lied helpless in a ditch, other concerned drivers stopped to ask the woman if she was okay and if anyone was hurt, and the woman said she was fine and that no one was hurt, ignoring the fact that my father could be dead a hundred feet away. After 4 surgeries and a stay at the hospital my dad is finally home recovering. The doctors say he can't work for at least 6 months leaving him with no income.
