My name is Friday Lynton, Founder + Program Director for the Fashion With Friday Program. This GFM was created to crowdfund donations that will allow 2 Creative Youth the opportunity to participate in the FWF Summer 1 Intensive with a fully sponsored & 1/2 sponsored tuition (covering tuition costs, supplies & more) . Within this letter, you’ll find a breakdown of the program along with details in regards to your potential contribution. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read & consider this!


Fashion With Friday: An Independent Fashion Program for Creative Youth
The Fashion With Friday Program allows creative youth the opportunity to explore the ever-popular fashion industry and expand their knowledge by providing them with industry level activities + experiences. FWF Creatives go behind-the-scenes as they develop new skills, visit NYC's fashion landmarks, design/create all while interacting with other young creatives. The program also includes sketching, learning how to run a fashion business & attending a fashion college + portfolio building & more!

Further activities include:
• Fashion FUNdamentals
• Designer + Brand Discovery
• Entrepreneurship
• Mood Boarding
• DIY Projects
• Field Trips 
• Meeting industry pros & young entrepreneurs 
• Mock Industry Activities 
• Hair & Nail Design


The FWF Summer 2018 Scholarship (where your donations go)
The Fashion With Friday Scholarship will allow 1 Creative Youth the opportunity to participate in the Summer 1 Intensive with a fully sponsored tuition.
Applicants must currently fit the following criteria to be nominated + awarded:
*A Youth Creative (past or present) of the FWF Program
*Shows strong creative abilities
*Shows strong leadership skills
*Demonstrates high level of interest in the fashion industry

Applicants must submit the following to be nominated + awarded:
*Portfolio with Creations / Sketches / Ideas
*Statement letter explaining their love for fashion along with why they want to attend the Summer Intensive


Summer 2018 Scholarship Breakdown
Sponsorship/ Donations will cover the following:

*Complete tuition for Summer Intensive 
*Transportation for all trips + tours in NYC
*Freshly prepared daily meals
*FWF Starter pack (FWF Merchandise)
*All Supplies and Activity costs
*Fashion Portfolio
*Final Presentation costs
*+ more

Tuition Cost
The Summer Intensive runs over the course of 4 weeks
from July 2- July 31 2018 with a $800/month tuition cost per youth.
