Farmingdale State Ice Hockey Team

Farmingdale State College Ice Hockey Team has been nationally recognized at the collegiate level for many years while also winning 3 consecutive conference championships in the past three years, and we are currently working on a fourth.  During the 2016-2017 season our team has placed second in the ACHA D3 Atlantic region for the second consecutive year and earned an autobid to the National Championship in Columbus, Ohio.

Our team makes many sacrifices and works very hard to achieve the level of success that we've been able to maintain for many years. Although we have brought national recognition to the school as being one of Long Island's premier college hockey programs, school officals and Student Government have failed to support our team.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago Farmingdale State College Student Government informed the team that the promised spring budget was cut by 75%. This decision by the Student Government ultimately put the team at risk of defaulting and not making it to the national tournament.  After much outreach by coaches, the general manager,and the team Eboard, Student Government still refuses to give the team more money to cover bills and send us to the national tournament.

We are trying to raise money in order to pay for our bus to nationals and our hotel stay. The national tournament begins March 13th and since we were just informed by the student government that they will not give us anymore money we need to raise the funds as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate any donations that are given to our team to help us achieve our goal of a National Championship.
