Due to the overwhelming response from the current and past students and teachers, we have increased our goal to cover unexpected expenses.
Since 1951, Lake Como Elementary has been our small neighborhood school, loved by all. In June, 2016 Lake Como Elementary will be closing its doors forever and the current building will be demolished to make room for a new K-8 School.
Please join us on Saturday, 5/21/16 to say “Farewell Lake Como”! We will have Food Trucks, Carnival Games and a Photo Booth. We will be selling t-shirts and memory books, plus you will have a chance to order a legacy brick, which will be used when the new school is built!
Mr. Richard will be performing and there will also be a special presentation by the current 4th and 5th Grade Chorus!
The Lake Como Elementary PTA is sponsoring this event and because we are such a small school, we do have a limited budget. We are asking for donations to help offset some of the costs. We want to make this event free for past and current Comets, as well as the people in the community.
Please contact us if you wish to be added to our mailing list for updates, or if you have any questions. We are especially looking for former students, teachers and staff to be a part of this night by sharing special memories about Lake Como Elementary.
