Sainju Family Earthquake Recovery

Donation protected

My youngest brother’s sweet girlfriend is Nepalese – they met in a class at Southeastern Louisiana University two years ago and are inseparable. Her parents and brother back in Bhaktapur, Nepal  survived the 4/25 earthquake , but their home and livelihood have been completely destroyed. The family has been unable to reach aid since roads and infrastructure are so severely damaged. The present situation is dire, as their group has gone days without shelter, food, or clean water. I will update here when able.

Your contributions will assist a family in need and a family that is a pillar of their community. The Sainjus are humanitarians and are raising educated children that make the world a better place. Funds will go towards the following when possible: obtaining rations and supplies for survival, rebuilding the family home and community grocery store,  assisting Yashmin and her sister with educational and living expenses in the US, and helping other Southeastern Louisiana University international students from Nepal who have been similarly effected by this disaster.

We deeply appreciate your sympathy and kindness during this time.
