Husband Passing at Christmas

My friend Angie has been a HUGE help this year with the Blessing Bag Program and shes been through ALOT over the last month. 

Her husband Chris, took his life Christmas night in their home here in the Roanoke Valley.


The family has been struggling deeply with loss of work, financial troubles of being able to pay the bills let alone have a Christmas for their two kids.

Me, along with several other friends helped her with some bills and for getting Christmas gifts for the kids, however Chris was deeply depressed and no one knew it.

They have no life insurance.
They have no coverage for funreal expenses.
They have no savings.

As a friend of their family, I'm setting up a Go Fund Me to help cover their funeral costs and some added expenses that quite honeslty, they can't cover, the power bill, mortgage, food, some basics.

For those of you that know Angie, hes been wonderful in helping us with being the admin of the Panhandling Facebook group page as well as an active member here at Blessing Bags.

It really tears up my heart knowing that she lost her husband Christmas day and that their kids woke up without a father.

Everything raised here will go to Angie to help pay for some upcoming costs here.

I'm trying to raise a small amount for them but honestly theyre in a dire need of much more.
