On November 8, 2018, my family lost everything we own to the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. The home I grew up in and ending up buying is a total loss. Everything Ive ever owned is gone. As I stomped out flames in my front yard and ensured my children’s mother was getting my boys to safety, I discovered my pregnant girlfriend was being evacuated as well farther up the hill in Magalia. Everybody got out with every animal we have but ultimately my entire family and  every friend in town have lost our homes and most have lost jobs. My family and I are currently sprinkled across Northern California with people who have generously opened their homes to us. Anything to help us figure our our new “normal” is appreciated more than you can imagine. Thank you.
