Hello everyone!
My friend, a Marine who served in Iraq (3 tours)
suffers from post-traumatic-stress (100% VA rating) . He is a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. He's done a lot and seen a lot, and he is in a very dark place right now.
Due to his PTSD and the current addiction problems he is battling... he is no longer in his home and able to support his family. And it does not look like he will be able to do it in the foreseeable future.
His wife and 8 year-old-son are devastated and struggling. She does not know I am doing this so for those of you who know her, please refrain from reaching out to her until I finish the campaign and send her the funds.
Side note: My friend served with Jason Dunham (Medal of Honor recipient), a Marine who dove on a grenade back in 2004 to save his fellow Marines. He continues to struggle with the events that happened that day. I interviewed him back in 2004 and you can watch part of it here: Interview
If you would like to offer support for his family, you can do so right here by making a donation. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at any time.
I appreciate any and all support people can offer.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
And thank you in advance!
