A good friend of mine, Nicole Dirnberger Sickles, mother of Five, one with Down Syndrome, has been diagnosed with, and suffering Lyme Disease. However, the diagnosis came too late, and the typical antibiotic to stop the disease was not effective. She has been suffering debilitating symptoms since last August, 2017. She has lost her job, her car, and is now is a chapter 13. We have also just learned that her husband, and 3 of her 5 children have also been diagnosed with the Lyme Disease. According to the CDC, 300,000 new cases of Lyme Disease occur every year. It is now the #1 infectious disease in the United States. More and more cases are seen in areas previously considered to have a low infection rate. Her husband, the only bread winner in the family, is now also suffering symptoms, including heart palpitations, vertigo, and difficulty with memory functions. His biggest stress and worry is that this could eventually affect his position at work. They are in desperate need of financial help. They have learned of a stem cell treatment that costs thousands of dollars, and is not covered by insurance. This treatment can not only save her life in the long run, and the lives of her family members infected, but will slowly help to put her body back together, relieve her debilitating symptoms, and give her her life back. She Needs to be there for her children. Adam, who is her child with Down Syndrome, is only 13 years old. he desperately needs his mother, who is currently bedridden most days. Please join me in helping Nicole's family raise money for medical treatment that can save her and her family from the daily tortures this disease is inflicting on them. The money raised will go towards IV therapies, stem cell therapy, and bio-photon therapy, which will strengthen the immune system which will eventually allow their own immune system to eradicate the Lyme. There is a sense of urgency as the disease continues to ravish the white matter of her brain, and attack her central nervous system. Every single dollar you can give Will Help, as the treatments will be in stages.
