It is with heavy hearts that we launch this fundraising effort for the Pitts family. Police Officer Rob Pitts, Terre Haute Police Dept was shot and killed on May 4, 2018 while conducting a homicide investigation.
As Officer Pitts and detectives approached a homicide suspect's apartment the man opened fire on them, fatally wounding Officer Pitts.
Officer Pitts served with the Terre Haute Police Department for 16 years. He is survived by one minor child & two young adult children.
Indiana Going Blue is a not for profit organization that supports all law enforcement in the State of Indiana. Indiana Going Blue is working directly with Terre Haute Police Dept. on this fundraising effort. All Proceeds will be distributed to Officer Pitts' family via Terre Haute Police Dept.
