 CATHLAMET, WA
On January 9th, 2017 Journeyman lineman David Schrock was working in Weed California to help restore power after a heavy winter storm. There was a tragic accident that took his life. Dave was an extraordinary IBEW lineman, husband, father, son and friend. Dave was the man that would give anyone the shirt off his back. David leaves behind his loving wife Holly, and two wonderful sons Wyatt and Levi. Please send your thoughts and support for this Fallen Lineman and his heartbroken family.

To each and every person who has donated and commented in support of my family... family, friends, coworkers, our line-family, and kind strangers... thank you from the bottom of our hearts. David made a lasting mark on so many lives. The outpouring of support has been both humbling and overwhelming.

Please accept our sincerest gratitude.
Holly, Wyatt and Levi Schrock

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My husband is a Lineman IBEW Local 1277. He was severely burnt on a power line I'm grateful he's still alive. He shared a hospital room at Emmanuel burn center in Or with another Lineman that Linemans brother came to visit he was missing an arm. It's such a hazardous job. Prayers for this beautiful family.

Holly, Wyatt, and Levi - my husband, Rusty Poage, is also a power lineman and worked with your husband/dad. In fact, Rusty is out on storm now, restoring power to Portland. We are so sorry about this. Your husband/dad looks so much like our Rusty in his lineman clothes, happy working on storm to support his family. It really brought the reality home to us of how our men put their lives on the line. We have three teenage boys, two at home (Connor, 17 & Owen, 15). My boys tragically & unexpectedly lost their biological father four years ago. It has been difficult. My heart is heavy with your loss and I am praying for you to be held in God's grace.
