For Isaiah

$15,263 of $25,000 goal

Raised by 240 people in 4 months
This past Christmas my brother David, his wife Renee, and the kids moved up to Olympia, WA to enjoy life with their family.  Since the holidays are over they are continually trying to get plugged in and settled.

The kids have finally settled into their schools and are just starting to get comfortable. Tragically on January 27th, their youngest son, Isaiah, was outside when he was struck by a minivan. The vehicle did not stop and Isaiah was flown to a hospital - He suffered from a skull fracture, swelling around his brain, and bleeding around his heart. After multiple surgeries the doctors found that there was no brain activity and decided to remove him from life support.

With my brother being in Washington the best thing I can do right now is try and help support him. If you are in a position to help please do either financially or through prayers, they are going to need a significant amount of both.

Hello,
This will be the final update for this GoFundMe page. Isaiah's funeral was Monday Feb. 18th. Family from all over came up to Washington and braved the snowy conditions.

I have said it before but it is worth repeating. I know that Dave, Renee and the entire family are absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and their community.

I want to encourage everyone to hold close to those around us. Don't take relationships lightly as they are fragile and can change in an instant. Hold tightly to the memories that have been created with the people that have gone away too early. Continue to strive to do what is right and above all "Let all that you do be done in love."

Thank you again for your love, support and genuine caring you have shown my brother and his family during this terrible season in their life.

Sincerely,
Eric
