Shari's new handicap friendly van

Hi! My name is Teresa Westfall, and I would like to share a story about my massage therapist Shari Clark. Shari is a working, single mom who is in a wheelchair. She lives in a lovely home here in Colorado Springs, and stays extra busy doing pottery and volunteering for the humane society.  Shari has been my therapist for about 5 years, and because of her caring and compassionate personality, she has become a real friend to me- in fact she seems to help everyone she meets. She is a very positive person, and is always supporting others in any way she can, even though she herself is physically limited.
Just before Thanksgiving Shari injured her leg and is now unable to do simple tasks like transfer herself to her wheelchair, or  get herself out of bed.  The following week, her handicap accesible van was stolen from her own driveway!! Of course the insurance company will only give the blue book value for the vehicle, and her supplemental insurance maxes out at $1,000. The lift alone cost $10,000!

I would like to ask you to donate to help purchase a new handicap friendly van for Shari... It would mean so much to her and her son. This has been a real set back for her as you can imagine, and despite everything happening she just tells me "Oh, I'll get through it"- remaining positive and showing incredible character. Please don't let the goal amount look too insurmountable, any gift you could give would be SO appreciated. I will be forever grateful to you all for your generous help!!
