Chelsea Needs Us All

My amazing daughter, Chelsea Briggen needs our help. She's suffered from Type 1 diabetes since she was 19 years old, which is a really mean and nasty disease... She's been tremendously successful at maintaining a great attitude and she takes stellar care of herself in terms of her diet and lifestyle.

Regardless of her efforts to remain as healthy as  possible, last night she was admitted into the hospital with DKA, or diabetic ketoacidosis as well as a mysterious infection somewhere in her little perfect body. She's stable this morning, her blood sugars are good but will have to stay in ICU for a number of days still to figure out the cause of the high white blood cells.

As her mother, I'm reaching out to my tribe for your financial support - which will go directly to her. She will have hospital bills, a reduced ability to work and she absolutely needs peace of mind and time to recover.
