NATCA Disaster Relief Fund

$5,675 of $100,000 goal

Raised by 78 people in 12 days
NATCA has activated its disaster relief fund to assist members who may be affected by Hurricane Florence. Our brothers and sisters who live and work in facilities in the Southern and Eastern Regions are rallying to offer support and assistance as needed, as is the NATCA family as a whole.

NATCA established its disaster relief fund in 1992 in the wake of Hurricane Andrew in Florida. The fund provides assistance to NATCA members who have experienced catastrophic losses of property and helps provide a lifeline during those most desperate times.

Due to the generosity of our membership, our fund has continued to grow and has allowed NATCA members to help those affected after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita (2005), Ike (2008), Sandy (2012), Matthew (2016), Harvey (2017), Irma (2017), and Maria (2017), and the 2016 flooding in Baton Rouge, La.

NATCA will work directly with affected members to help them purchase food, gasoline, or any other supplies that might be required. Please help us make sure there are sufficient funds to support our brothers and sisters in need. Any donations made through this GoFundMe will go directly to the NATCA disaster relief fund. We will have volunteers ready to deliver supplies as soon as we know the need.

NATCA members can also donate to the disaster relief fund through payroll deduction, using this form: Payroll Deduction Form .

Our dedicated #NATCAfamily members are on the move to help our brothers & sisters affected by #HurricaneFlorence. Please donate today to support their efforts as they work to bring supplies to those in need as the flood waters rise.

From Miami Center: "How amazing is our NATCA family? ZDC Members (VP Mike Christine, Aaron Wilt, Chris Perkins) drove down overnight, leaving ZDC at 9pm and arriving in North Carolina at 9am, stopping at Lowe's Home Improvement, then continuing on to ISO (Kinston, North Carolina Tower) members.

"They met with a volunteer who flew from RDU to ISO, unloaded supplies from their personal 182, and now the ZDC Members are on their way to EWN (New Bern Tower).

"At EWN, members will split up supplies and deliver them to NKT (Cherry Point) members, survey the area, and then return home tomorrow. It's an absolute tremendous volunteer effort.

"More members are en route from Central Florida to Wilmington to help get members home and check on their property."
