In Memory of Bella

On December 4th 2018, Lauren and her five children were traveling home. Lauren's car was struck, and it immediately turned into an emergency situation. Thankfully, three of the children, all under the age of two made it through with only minor bumps and bruises. Lizzy, Bella and mom Lauren were all badly injured. The three of them were transported to different hospitals to be cared for. As the three of them fought through the night and doctors did their very best working on all of them, it became clear that Bella was critical. This morning doctors rushed Lauren by helicopter  to be with her daughter Bella. And it is with a heavy heart to say, early this afternoon Bella went home to be with the Lord.
Lauren was able to see and say goodbye to Bella before she passed. 
Lizzy is now stable and alert but will have a long road to recovery, as she broke both of her legs and her arm. Mom, Lauren, is still in ICU with broken vertebrae in her back and a ruptured spleen, but is alert and stable.

Caring for someone after a horrific accident can be costly and stressful, but now the family will be planning a funeral for their beautiful daughter. Not only will there be funeral costs, but medical bills, travel expenses, time off work for the parents, medications and physical therapy costs as well. The family has a very long journey ahead of them and could really use our help as a community.


Lauren's sister, Cortney Plemons, is the beneficiary for this fundraiser, and will be able to access all funds donated to give to the family. Thank you again for your help.
