My name is Beatrice and I'm a 22 year old from Hampshire studying at University in Birmingham.
Like many I've been horrified by the refugee crisis in Europe. Over Christmas I am going with the fantastic charity Calais Action to volunteer amongst the thousands of displaced people in the refugee camps.
I am asking for donations so that I can buy hats, gloves and warm shoes for the refugees whilst I am out there - it is getting colder every day and people are unable to cope with the freezing temperatures.
I'm sure many of you have already donated to charities but every penny you can spare I will use to buy vital warm clothing that will save lives.
It would mean so much to me and I will be so grateful for anything you can donate.
