We are local business and community leaders that have taken to the cause of helping the poor and underprivileged kids of Apollo Elementary.
As part of our Leadership Northwest class, ran by the Northwest OKC Chamber of Commerce, each class chooses a local organization to support as a class project.
Leadership Northwest is comprised of individuals working for companies in the NW Oklahoma City area.
We've raised and dontated 40 pairs of gloves and hats as well as several hundred dollars in food that the kids were able to take home during winter break. We'll be doing another food donation for Spring Break.
We are raising cash specifically for the Summer Reading program. Talking with the principal, she says that cash is the best thing for this project.
