Hello! My name is Joshua and I'm in a bit of a bind.

I'm going to be turning 33 and I'm getting the push to move out. Before now I have already tried moving out three times. The first time was with another family member, who over the course of two years, using her own kids as a catalyst, swindled me out of thousands so I had to move back with the parents. The second time, I was entertaining moving out with a long time coworker who was like a brother to me, which fell through as he suddenly spiraled into rampant drug use and the house he was in was sold underneath him. The third time I was ready to move out on my own and watched the housing market spike in real-time, making an affordable place impossible for me to get and sustain alone.

Since I'm getting that push again, the only course I have now is to move in with my, currently long distance, significant other. He is currently living with a roommate who is a long time friend to both of us.

The purpose of this fundraiser is for the need of a vehicle. I don't have a whole lot to take with me so I'll be looking into a decent SUV that can carry my life with me. The car I have now is old and the long trip I will have to make could very well be it's last. So I'm trying to get something that will both get me there and be usable for much longer after.

Any and all support is welcome and appreciated. I'm doing what I can to save as well despite my current job not paying me very well. I'm hoping to be able to get the new vehicle by mid 2026 so I can start getting affairs in order to make the move in early 2027.
