Oki my name is Maria Calf Robe. My parents were the late Janice Calf Robe and Larry Grey eyes. My Grandparents were Ed and Marie Calf Robe.

Last night me and my son were in bed and my son said he smelled something burning and I went to check and our entire kitchen mainly the stove was completely engulfed with flames. I managed to put out the fire on the stove, but the fan that connects to the roof blew up and our entire roof was engulfed in fire! It was an electrical fire. We had absolutely no time to grab anything. We left with the clothes on our back. Never in a million years did I think that something like this would happen to our family. We have absolutely nothing. We also lost 2 of our cats in the house fire. Im not the type of person to ask for help, but I am asking the community and friends and family to please if you can.. we really need help! I have no idea where to start or what to do.

Lastnight my son saved our lives! He was a real hero and I couldn't be more proud and I am thankful to the creator that we are okay and we're alive and healthy!❤️ very thankful. I would also like to thank Siksika Fire and Emergency services and the RCMP for all the help and compassion that they showed us lastnight.
