Hello! It's me, ya boy, Andrew. Recently endowed with a Master's in Education, recently recruited by l'Education Nationale, recently placed into his new place of work. And, as usual, flat broke. I need to find a place to move by the end of August, when my lease on the dorm is up, and security deposits and utility hook ups are exepensive.

Things are going great for me, so this is not an immediate, "I will die" situation". I have recently been given a good job, and will actually be able to get my feet under me. But, the school year doesn't start until September, and that's when I will get my first paycheck. Until, I'm set for groceries, rent on my dorm, and my bills, but I've got nothing I can put towards a security deposit, first and last rent, etc.

So I'm gonna try and pass the hat around to mooch off my loved ones one final time. The goal amount will include security deposit, first and last rent, some of the necessary furniture (read: bed and desk), and buying gifts dinners and other compensations for my friends who are helping me move.

I am very fortunate that rents in Caen are relatively reasonable, but getting this first push to get everything in place before the school year starts and I start teaching necessitates this cash. Moving here five years ago was already made possible by the generosity and good will of my loved ones, and that support has enabled me to earn two degrees and become more stably employed (my max here was 5 jobs at once, it was a bit hectic). And with this last effort, I will be put in place. Thank you very much.
