Hey, my name is Eli Salo and I lived in the Sagamore neighborhood in Boulder County (Colorado). A few days ago, the Marshall Fire quickly swept through Boulder County and took out hundreds of houses, along with mine and everything in it.

We were unable to take anything from the house as I was at work and the fire was too quick for my mom, who was home, to pack a bag. My mom also had a hard time getting out of the house in the intense heat and smoke since I had taken our only car to work. 

However, luckily a neighbor saw her and took her to the hospital in their car. I will forever thank that neighbor.

Everyone in my family is fine (including my mom) and we are safe, however any help is deeply appreciated as we work to rebuild our lives and buy back things we owned.
