On May 14th, 2025 at 18:02 tragedy struck when a very close friend of mine and his husband lost their home. It was completely destroyed in a fire. In just moments, everything was gone — their belongings, their sense of home, and most heartbreakingly, their two beloved pets.

Joe, Kevin, their kids and their other dog made it out safely thankfully. However,they now face the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding their lives from nothing.

They’re currently without basic necessities and are in need of immediate support for clothing, food, temporary housing, and eventually rebuilding their home and what was taken from them.

I am reaching out to our community, friends, and family — anyone who can help ease this overwhelming burden. Any donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward helping them get back on their feet.
