Two very dear friends of mine are in need of your help. 

Linda and Eric Niedbalski had a very normal and good life for their 34 years of marriage.  In the end of 2016 life took a drastic turn for the worse.  Just after Christmas, Eric was laid off from his job on the anniversary of his 36th year with the company.  Then on January 30th, Linda had a massive heart attack.  Linda was transported from Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, to Buffalo General Hospital, then to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where she and Eric are now.  Linda was on life support for eight days.  Eric is living in a hotel in Rochester, which is over 100 miles from their home.  He is commuting back and forth, as needed, to keep up with necessary things at home.  Most unfortunately, after three and a half hours of life saving CPR, Linda has lost her legs.  The heart attack also damaged her kidney’s and she is on dialysis.  Linda has a very long road ahead to recover.  The medical bills are adding up fast and will continue to for a long time.  Eric will need to make many changes and decisions in the near future that will be very expensive.  Things such as making a home suitable for Linda, mobility, and transportation issues are just some of the things that Eric will need to address.

To know Linda is to love Linda.  Eric and Linda are a special couple who I know truly treasure your prayers, kind words, and generosity in helping them on their new normal life.  Anything you are able to give is greatly appreciated.
