Hannah is a great lady who is a part of Baton Rouge AA. She’s been sober for 18 months and has lived at Next Step Sober Living for the whole duration of her sobriety. She’s a sponsee and sponsor and an active member of our community.
On November 5th of this year, Hannah got into a severe car accident that shattered her ankle and caused other minor bodily harm. They immediately had to perform reconstructive surgery and used two plates and fourteen screws to recreate her ankle. She was admitted to the hospital for a week for additional x-rays and scans to assess the severity of her other injuries. She is now home and, with the use of a walker, wheelchair, and crutches, she can perform basic daily functions. She lives in an upstairs apartment and has been told not to attempt to go downstairs for anything that isn’t absolutely necessary.
Unfortunately, due to this, she had to take a leave of absence from her medical training school and is unable to work until she is completely recovered. She needs your donations to make it through the next few months. If you could donate just $1 and share this with one person, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, God bless, and happy holidays!
These funds will be used to pay her rent, so that she can continue to live in sober living and stay sober. As well as, pay her phone bill and provide food while she is injured.
