Help Bring Manjit Home – A Final Goodbye
Dear Friends, Kind Souls, and the Community at Large,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of Manjit, a humble and hardworking individual who came to Canada on a work permit from a very poor region of India. Like many others, Manjit arrived here with big dreams—to work hard, support his struggling family back home, and build a better future.
Unfortunately, life took a heartbreaking turn.
Due to the overwhelming stress of life in a foreign country, away from loved ones, Manjit suddenly suffered a brain hemorrhage and fell unconscious. His coworkers found him and rushed him to the hospital, where he was admitted and placed under critical care. For days, we prayed for a miracle. But sadly, the doctors declared him dead.
Manjit had no family here in Canada. His parents, who are elderly and extremely poor, are devastated and completely helpless. They do not have the financial means to travel to Canada, nor can they afford the funeral expenses or the cost of transporting his body back to India for a proper goodbye.
Now, we—the people who knew him here—are doing everything we can to support his final journey home. But we can’t do this alone. We are reaching out to you, the kind-hearted people reading this, to help us raise funds to:
Cover hospital expenses
Pay for funeral and memorial services
Arrange for the transportation of Manjit’s body to India so his grieving family can perform his last rites.
No amount is too small. Every single donation will help ease the burden on his family and allow Manjit to be laid to rest with dignity, love, and respect.
Please share this campaign and keep Manjit’s family in your prayers. Let’s come together as a community to help a soul return home.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
