Support for Jason.

** Update 4/5 After 4 weeks in the hospital Jason was discharged home yesterday, to the great joy of his family and dog Lily. He will continue to receive PT in home several times a week as well as nurse visits. He continues to be unable to stand/walk while waiting for his pelvic injuries to heal but has been able to transition from bed to wheelchair and is enjoying this increased mobility. We are so thank for your support during these difficult times; whether through kind words, hospital visits, donations and the many other ways you have shown care.

**Update 3/11 Sunday’s surgery on jaw went well and the doctors were able to avoid wiring Jason’a jaw closed! Yesterday he went back to the OR for repairs to his shoulder and foot/ankle, and to CT to evaluate the status of his pelvis. Today will likely be a day of rest before going back for additional pelvic surgery tomorrow. In between procedures Jason has been alert and oriented and able to visit a little with family and close friends. We continue to be overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you. ❤️❤️

**Update 3/9: Jason remains in the ICU. We are thankful to report that he is neurologically intact. In between surgeries, procedures, medications, he has been awake and able to talk to us a little bit. He will be returning to surgery today for facial reconstruction. In addition to the facial fractures he sustain ankle, shoulder, and pelvic injuries, among other other assorted injuries.

Our whole family is so moved by the outpouring of love and support he is receiving. We appreciate every call, text, meal, hug, donation, etc.

Yesterday brother was hit by another vehicle while riding his motorcycle. He underwent emergency surgery for multiple traumatic injuries and remains in critical condition. While much is unknown at this time what I am certain of is that this will be an extremely long and difficult process. Any support is greatly appreciated.
