Chuck and Valerie Linfoot need your help! Both are retired Wildland Firefighters. They spent their lives saving the homes of friends, family and strangers yet they have completly lost their home of 30+ years in the McKinney Fire in Klamath River, CA.
Valerie is a Navy Veteran who works with the court system to advocate for those who need support. She has spent her life helping others. Chuck is retired and had spent his life on the property that brought him peace. It was the place that they watched their sons grow into men and within the walls of this house they kept memories of their late son, surviving children and grandchildren.
Leaving with flames behind him, Chuck packed what he could. Leaving in an emergency evacuation meant having to leave behind so many memories devastatingly lost in seconds.
