Cremation/Memorial for my Father.

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to stop by and at least read about my current situation.

I appreciate everyone that sent their condolensces and kind words, and even took the time out of their day to personally make a visit and spend time with me.

As many of you already know, my father peacefully passed away on Saturday night in my arms after being in various nursing homes for almost a year. He was diabetic, and had acute forms of cancer, so after trying to take care of him myself he needed additional and continuous medical care and attention I wasn't able to provide.


He was in various nursing homes for the past year and the doctor's didn't think he would make it past December of 2014. He held in there for that long just to see all the friends and family he hasn't in a while.


A lot of you have offered kind words and help in whatever way you can, and honestly I didn't think that many people would take their time to let me know they cared. 62 of you guys (my friends, their family, and some of my family) messaged me personally or on social media and that is amazing to me.

So now I turn to you guys, who had offered help, to help us at least get the memorial he deserves. My aunt is the power of attorney and I am just finding out that there was nothing planned at all because of the costs, and I wasn't notified of it. So here I am today, after talking to the funeral home and getting all the information I need, to ask for your help.

The cremation is $2,489.00
The chapel services is $795.00
The book is $50.00
and the program is $50.00


Nothing fancy here, just the basics to help us get the closure, and the opportunity to gather in one place to pay our respects and see all you guys and girls.
