Hey, my name is Amanda and I’m fundraising for my daughter, Bella who has Lipoedema.

Lipoedema is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects millions of women worldwide, including one in nine females in the UK. Despite its prevalence, the NHS does not currently provide a permanent surgical solution. There are, however, just a handful of specialised clinics in Europe that offer a permanent surgical solution, while the UK clinics can only provide temporary relief.

Our family is on a mission to help our daughter, who is bravely facing the challenges of lipoedema. To ensure the best care, we need to raise up to £13,000 to fund her journey abroad. This includes the surgery itself, accommodations, and flights. Because the procedure must be done in two separate stages for safety and healing reasons, our journey will span three to five days abroad.
