Help me live without cancer

I am Carmen del Rosario Yaguaro Soto, otherwise known as Carmencita.  I am Venezuelan, a retired teacher, and mother of 4 children. After the unexpected loss of my husband in December 2018, I began to suffer painful symptoms starting in April 2019.  This forced me to undergo emergency exploratory surgery for a primary tumor in the right ovary in June 2019. The corresponding biopsy was performed, and I was diagnosed with a Cancer called Stage three (IIIc) Ovarian Adenocarcinoma. In July of 2019 I started my first phase of chemotherapy.  Then, in November of 2019 I underwent a second surgery (Radical Hysterectomy-complete tumor removal) . In January 2020 I started a second phase chemotherapy using Bevacizumab-Avastin and Paclitaxel-Carboplatino at standard doses.  I went through a total of 8 cycles in this round of Chemo. Currently, I am in the follow-up and control protocol of the disease.  Unfortunately, my markers for the month of July 2020 reflect tumor activity, so I need to receive chemotherapy again.  To maximize the benefit of my chemotherapy, and to prevent the cancer from growing back, I need to complement the treatment with immunotherapy drugs OLAPARIB or PAZOPANIB. It is also important to tell you that because of complications arising from my surgery I developed a hernia on the left side of my abdomen.  I had scarring on my abdominal wall and I must have yet another surgery in the future to correct this. Being that I live in Venezuela, my beautiful country currently in economic and humanitarian crisis, I do not have access to health insurance or the funds to access proper medicine and medical care.  I come to you in humility asking for your help to assist me in continuing my fight against cancer. With your help, brick by brick, I will be able to continue chemotherapy treatment, we will perform the third surgery and immunotherapy, basic and daily medical expenses such as: medicine for the side effects of the treatment, laboratories, studies and other necessary supplies. Soy Carmen del Rosario Yaguaro Soto, también conocida como Carmencita. Soy Venezolana, profesora jubilada y madre de 4 hijos. Luego de la inesperada pérdida de mi esposo en diciembre de 2018, comencé a sufrir dolorosos sintomas a partir de abril de 2019. Esto me obligó a someterme a una cirugía exploratoria de emergencia por un tumor primario en el ovario derecho en junio de 2019. Se realizó la biopsia correspondiente, y me fui diagnosticada con cáncer llamado Adenocarcinoma de ovario en etapa tres (IIIc). En julio de 2019 comencé mi primera fase de quimioterapia. Luego, en noviembre de 2019 me someí a una segunda cirugía (extirpación completa del tumor con histerectomía radical). En enero de 2020 comencé tratamiento de quimioterapia de segunda fase con Bevacizumab-Avastin y Paclitaxel-Carboplatino en dosis estándar. Pasé por un total de 8 ciclos en esta ronda de quimioterapia. Actualmente me encuentro en el protocolo de seguimiento y control de la enfermedad. Desafortunadamente, mis marcadores para el mes de julio de 2020 reflejan la actividad tumoral, por lo que necesito recibir quimioterapia nuevamente. Para maximizar el beneficio de mi quimioterapia y evitar que el cáncer vuelva a crecer, necesito complementar el tratamiento con medicamentos de inmunoterapia OLAPARIB. También es importante decirles que debido a las complicaciones derivadas de mi cirugía desarrollé una eventracion en el lado izquierdo de mi abdomen debido a complicacones en cirugia que complico la cicatrizacion adecuada en la pared abdominal y debo tener otra cirugía en el futuro para corregir esto. Yo vivo en Venezuela, mi hermoso país actualmente en crisis económica y humanitaria, no tengo acceso a un seguro medico, nuestros ahorros cubrieron la primera parte de mi tratamiento, pero ya se hace imposible tener fondos para acceder a la medicina y atención médica adecuada para culminar el tratamiento. Acudo a ti con humildad pidiendo tu ayuda para ayudarme a continuar mi lucha contra el cáncer. Con tu ayuda, granito a granito podré continuar el tratamiento de quimioterapia, realizar la tercera cirugía e inmunoterapia, gastos médicos básicos y diarios como: medicina para los efectos secundarios del tratamiento, laboratorios, estudios y demás insumos necesarios.
