On May 19th, 2021 my family experienced a tremendous loss. My 15-year-old cousin, Jacob Weissman's, life was cut short by a devastating house fire. He was a tech-loving boy with a big heart and a bright future ahead of him. He was a happy kid, always smiling and making jokes through everything life threw at him. 


Already having dealt with the tragic loss of their father a few years ago, Jacob's family is now also forced to contend with the untimely, shattering loss of their beloved son and brother, their home, and all of their belongings. They have to rebuild and currently only have the clothes on their backs while undergoing a lengthy insurance indemnity process they've been advised can take up to a year.

While we are doing everything we can to support Judy and her daughters, the financial costs are substantial. All donations will be used to cover funeral arrangements along with temporary shelter, clothing, and basic necessities for the family.
