Isabella Perkin's Mystery Day

Isabella (Bella) is the daughter of Kasey (stay a home Mom) and Eric Perkins( Police officer) She has two brothers, Tyler 5 and Owen 3.
Isabella was diagnosed with GERD at 2 weeks old; she has been on medications trying to control it since then. Her acid production has been suppressed but the act of reflux still continues. Due to her reflux she has reactive airway problems, when she gets a simple cold it lands her in respiratory distress and many times in the hospital. She has severe sleep apnea, believed to be a result of her throat being irritated from the constant reflux.
At a year old Isabella had a swallowing study was performed and it was determined that she has penetration of her trachea when swallowing liquids and is micro-aspirating.
Bella was also found to have Chiari malformation and had surgery to decompress her brain in May 2015. We were hopeful that the surgery would be the answer to her problems. We are thankful that her balance significantly improved but none of her other symptoms dissipated. She has been hospitalized 5 times.
Bella just had an MRI to make sure there was nothing in her spine that would be causing her problems. The results were normal.
She is going to be admitted to the hospital again to have a feeding tube placed as a trial to see if that relieves her symptoms. We expect her to be in the hospital for 3 weeks.
Kasey is unable to work due to Isabella's medical care. Bella has multiple appointments a month, as well as illnesses that often land her in the hospital.
Eric is the sole provider for the family working as a police officer. Mounting medical bills and Eric's is unable to work overtime because he needs to be available to help take care of the boys.
Bella’s Mom and Dad could use help paying medical bills that continue to pile up as well as those thrown at them as part of normal life.
