Kurt and Christy's Assistance Fund

Last summer, Christy's doctors discovered she was suffering from kidney failure and was immediately started on dialysis.  While undergoing dialysis and securing a kidney from her awesome brother Joe, doctors found she needed 3 stents in her heart.  Her kidney transplant had to be delayed due to the cardiac surgery.  While awaiting the transplant, Kurt became ill with what was thought to be unpleasant kidney stones.  However, further testing revealed a rare form of liver cancer which had progressed to stage 4.  They are traveling to Mayo Clinic to receive further diagnosis and treatment options. 
They could desperately use our help in raising funds as  traveling is expensive and neither are able to work at this time.  In addition, they have 4 children; one in college, the other 3 still in high school.  While they have health insurance, the expenses are still piling up and are far exceeding their ability to pay.
