Johnies House

Johnie B is a very kind and gentle soul, he lives alone on a small piece of property left to him by his parents when they died. Johnie does not get public assistance and has worked hard all his life.  Johnie was the school janitor in Stockton for many years and everyone loved and appreciated his strong work ethic and kindness. MOst of all anyone who know Johnie knows his devotion and trust in God. He loves to sing and praise God for all he has and does not complain. He has lived very modestly all hislife. Johnie makes due with what he has. Many years ago his small trailer burned down and he lost everything. What did Johnie do but just started salvaging what he could the next day and proceded to build himself a home one little room at a time out of boards, tin logs, rock and mortar. 4 years ago Johnie with his giving heart opened his modest little home to two people who had no where to go. Over the course of time he was pushed outside (litterally into a wood shed)  and his home, finances and belongings were all taken from him. What did he do but just started putting together a small hut to live in behind the house on his property. Well Johnies home is no longer inhabitable and must be torn down. The people who did this to him are gone and will never be able to do this to him again. Now a group of his friends want him to have a home, one he can be warm and safe in. Our plan is to build Johnie a new house, small and energy efficient before the cold weather starts in October. There are enough of us to do this but we need some support to buy supplies to build the house. Please donate to Johnies House and follow us on Face Book to see our progress.
