Hi my name is Lisa. This is for my daughter Libby. Libby is 25 years old and has battled depression since she was 15 years old. Over the last 6 years we have lost all the male role models in our lives. My Dad 2016, my father-in-law 2018 and last year her Dad. Not that it makes a difference but these were unexpected losses that really rocked our family. Libby fell into severe depression little by little with each loss. She has been in counseling since she was 17 years old due to bullying in high school because of her weight which has been a constant struggle for her as well. She has been in and out of college since she graduated trying to get her bachelors degree but every time she started to do well we had another loss. She has tried to continue on as normal as possible but without the proper counseling was not a possibility. She had a fabulous counselor from 15-19 and unfortunately she passed away. Since Libby has been to multiple counselors trying to find a good match for her. She finally found someone who is helping her find her happy again but she is out of network with our insurance. I am helping where I can but the cost is adding up since she only gets $50/visit from the insurance and the visits are $150. She goes weekly. She is paying for these visits along with student loans and other bills. She does work full time but it still is more than she can keep up with. I am not in a position to keep helping her either. I am asking for donations to help my daughter continue the therapy with a psychologist who is going to help her finally be my happy girl again!! Thank you for any assistance!
